Wet Leg Announce Second Album ‘moisturizer’ and UK Tour for May 2025

Oh hello, new Wet Leg era! Everyone’s favourite Isle of Wight indie duo is back — and they’re bringing moisturiser. No, not that kind (although, stay hydrated, folks). We’re talking about ‘moisturizer’, the much-anticipated second album from Wet Leg, dropping like a glitter bomb on Friday 11th July 2025.
After taking over the world (and half of our Spotify Wrapped) with their self-titled debut in 2022, Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers are diving deeper, freakier, and more fabulous with this next chapter. And honestly? We’re moisturised, emotional, and more than ready.
💥 Lead Single: catch these fists
Serving big “don’t mess with me” energy, the first single catch these fists is a clapback anthem born from an “interaction with a belligerent man” — and let’s just say, it swings. The music video, filmed back on their Isle of Wight stomping ground and directed by Wet Leg themselves, is a dreamy, slightly unhinged visual mash-up of Ti West, Cameron Crowe, and their iconic Wet Dream vid. A truly weird and wonderful way to enter what they call “moisturizer valley.” Yes please.
🧴 So what is ‘moisturizer’ all about?
Described as “fun and freaky and fabulous,” the new album is a collaborative effort from all five members of Wet Leg’s live band — not just Rhian and Hester. Think fuzz, fun, and songs tailor-made to blow the roof off live shows.
“We were just kind of having fun and exploring,” says Hester. “We focussed on: Is this going to be fun to play live?”
Rhian adds, “It was very natural that we would write the second record together.”
But there’s a deeper layer under the cheeky guitar riffs too — Rhian also revealed that much of the album was inspired by a major personal shift.
“I thought I was straight all of my life until I met my current partner — these love songs are about them,” she shared. “I just found it so much more interesting and empowering to be writing love songs where I’m not lusting over a man — it feels a little bit different.”
We love to see it. Emotional growth and fuzzy riffs? Chef’s kiss.

Expect sold-out signs, glitter, cowboy hats, and a lot of screaming.
