West Holts Unveils a Genre-Bending Line-Up for Glastonbury 2025
Share On
Glastonbury is really keeping us on our toes this year. Hot on the heels of the Field of Avalon announcement (which was already packed with must-sees), we now have the first wave of acts for West Holts—and true to form, it’s an absolute melting pot of sounds, styles, and boundary-pushing artists from all over the world.
West Holts has always been the place for music lovers who like their festivals with a side of the unexpected. It’s where heritage acts rub shoulders with forward-thinking talent, where afrobeat meets electronic, and where jazz, soul, hip-hop, and psychedelia all come together in one glorious, genre-blurring explosion. And this year? It’s looking bigger and bolder than ever.
Big Names & Breakout Stars
One of the major highlights is the return of Maribou State, fresh from a huge comeback that saw them sell out Alexandra Palace. Their lush, expansive live show—complete with strings and guest vocalists—is bound to be a proper West Holts moment. Then there’s Doechii, who’s been everywhere lately. A Grammy win, a show-stealing performance at the awards, and now her first-ever UK festival appearance? Huge.
Meanwhile, electronic heavyweights Overmono are set to close out Sunday with their high-energy, bass-fuelled live set—perfect for anyone who wants to dance their way into the final hours of the weekend. And if that wasn’t enough, Denzel Curry, BADBADNOTGOOD, and Greentea Peng are all lined up to bring their own unique blends of hip-hop, jazz, and neo-soul to the stage.
New Additions & Hidden Gems
Alongside the previously teased names, West Holts has now added some fresh faces to the bill—including Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso, the Argentinian duo currently setting the global scene alight, and Corto.Alto, Glasgow’s fast-rising jazz fusion outfit.
Also joining the party: sibling group Infinity Song, genre-defying singer-songwriter Nilüfer Yanya, and Margate’s very own Thandii. And for something truly special, South African cellist Abel Selaocoe & The Bantu Ensemble are set to bring a jaw-dropping fusion of classical strings and African rhythms—an act that could easily be one of the festival’s best-kept secrets.
As always, West Holts isn’t just a stage—it’s a journey. Whether it’s the psych-rock chaos of The Brian Jonestown Massacre, the reggae grooves of Black Uhuru, or the legendary funk of Cymande, this is where the festival’s most adventurous music lovers will find their home.
