Victorious Festival 2025: A Bank Holiday Bash by the Seaside

Oh, Victorious Festival, you’ve done it again! With the Southsea seafront as your stunning backdrop and a lineup that’s got us all scrambling for tickets, this August Bank Holiday weekend (22/23/24 August 2025) is shaping up to be one for the books.
Let’s start with the big guns, shall we? Kings of Leon are closing out the festival on Sunday with a greatest hits set that’ll have the entire crowd screaming along to Sex on Fire and Use Somebody. Grammy-winning, arena-filling legends—they’re the cherry on top of what’s already looking like a perfect weekend.
And what about Friday night? Well, rock behemoths Queens of the Stone Age are kicking things off with a bang. Josh Homme and the gang will be tearing through bangers like No One Knows and Go With the Flow. Honestly, what better way to start the weekend than with a bit of riff-heavy chaos?

Saturday’s headliner brings indie darlings Vampire Weekend to the Southsea stage for their only UK festival appearance this summer. Get ready to belt out A-Punk and Oxford Comma with your mates—these guys are the soundtrack to good vibes.
But Victorious isn’t just about the headliners. This year’s lineup is packed with treats for every music taste. Michael Kiwanuka is bringing his soulful, heartfelt tunes on Friday, including the modern masterpiece Cold Little Heart. Then there’s Madness, delivering pure ska joy with their endless classics (Baggy Trousers, anyone?). And yes, you’re not dreaming—Nelly Furtado is hitting the stage on Saturday to remind us all why she ruled the Noughties.

For fans of homegrown talent, it’s a feast. Bloc Party is back on Saturday with a special set featuring Silent Alarm and their indie anthem-packed back catalogue. The legendary Gabrielle will be keeping things soulful, while Reverend and the Makers and The Zutons are bringing their unmistakable British sound to the seaside.
Oh, and don’t forget the afternoon slots—these are always gems at Victorious. The Charlatans are Friday’s special guests, while everyone’s favorite cheeky rap duo, Rizzle Kicks, will be trumpeting their way through Saturday. And Sunday? It’s all about Craig David Presents TS5, which promises to be the ultimate Bank Holiday daytime party.
If that’s not enough, there’s a serious throwback vibe happening with sets from Melanie C (DJ set), Daniel Bedingfield, and Shed Seven. Meanwhile, fresh talent like Caity Baser, Jamie Webster, and The Mary Wallopers are ready to wow the crowds.
And it’s not just music! Victorious Festival’s comedy lineup is on fire this year, with Joel Dommett and Ruby Wax leading the laughs.
Andy Marsh, the festival’s lead booker, summed it up perfectly:
“We’ve booked our biggest year to date for Victorious 2025 with iconic headliners and emerging talent across the board. Victorious 2025 promises unforgettable performances, memories, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences! We can’t wait to see everyone on Southsea seafront again!”
With a lineup this good and day tickets now on sale, you’d better move quickly. Victorious is the ultimate seaside escape, and 2025 looks set to be its biggest and best year yet. See you in Southsea!
