Spice Girls Reunion? Geri Horner Drops Major Hint for 30th Anniversary

Stop right now, thank you very much—because it looks like the Spice Girls might finally be gearing up for a reunion to celebrate their 30th anniversary! And leading the charge? None other than Ginger Spice herself, Geri Horner.
With 2026 marking three decades since the release of Wannabe, fans have been crossing their fingers for another comeback. And in a new interview with The Times, Geri has added fuel to the fire, hinting that something special is in the works.
“My hope is we come back together as a collective. It’s more respectful to come as one,” she revealed. “There will be something. We’ll come as one. We love each other. I love them, I care about them, we want the best for each other.
“We shared something so monumental. We’ve always believed in each other, had trust in each other, which is beautiful.”
Will All Five Spice Up Our Lives Again?
Geri isn’t the only one teasing a return to the stage. Mel C (Sporty Spice) recently told Australia’s 2Day FM radio:
“It’s 30 years next year since the release of Wannabe. We have to do something special. Obviously, I can’t say too much, but we are talking about things. Hopefully, a nice little world tour!”
The last Spice Girls tour in 2019 saw four of the five members reunite, with Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) opting out. But the girls still managed to bring her into the action last year when they performed an impromptu rendition of Stop at Victoria’s 50th birthday party—caught on camera by none other than David Beckham himself.
As for Mel B (Scary Spice), she’s made no secret of her desire to hit the road again. Earlier this month, she told Magic FM’s Gabby Logan:
“I get so excited on stage with my girls, I end up running round the whole stage, I kind of lose myself.” And when asked if a reunion is happening, she didn’t hesitate: “I’m hoping so. You know me, I’m always saying ‘yeah, we’re going on tour tomorrow’.”
The UK’s Love Affair with the Spice Girls
With Glastonbury and festival season on the horizon, the UK’s love for iconic reunions is stronger than ever. The Spice Girls’ 2019 stadium tour was a massive success, proving that their girl power still packs a punch. Could they be eyeing another blockbuster tour, or even a festival slot? Just imagine the fields of Worthy Farm erupting to Spice Up Your Life—the energy would be off the charts.
For now, we wait. But if Geri’s words are anything to go by, something is definitely brewing in the Spice Girls camp. Could this be the reunion fans have been dreaming of? Watch this space…
