Rod Stewart Postpones Vegas Show—But He’s Still Bringing the Party to Glasto!

Hey festival fam, guess who’s been forced to take a little time out? Yep, the one and only Rod Stewart—rock legend, raspy-voiced crooner, and all-around legend—has postponed his show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, just four hours before he was due to hit the stage. Talk about a last-minute switcheroo!
Rod, who’s a sprightly 80 (and yes, he still has that enviable mop of hair), broke the news to fans via Instagram Stories on Sunday night, apologising to the thousands who were eagerly awaiting his set. “I am sorry to inform you that I’m not feeling well and my show tonight at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is being rescheduled to June 10,” he wrote, adding that tickets will still be valid. Phew!
While he didn’t spill the beans on exactly what’s got him under the weather, Caesars Palace confirmed the postponement too, so fans can at least plan their sparkly outfits for the new date.
But fear not, Glastonbury-goers—Rod’s still on track to bring his legendary pipes to Worthy Farm later this month! Not only that, but he’s teasing a reunion with his old mate Ronnie Wood, promising a glorious Faces set that’s sure to go down in festival history. Imagine belting out “Stay With Me” alongside thousands of fellow music-lovers. Goosebumps, anyone?
Rod’s also got plenty more shows lined up for his massive One Last Time World Tour, hitting North America all summer long. And let’s not forget his epic 200-show residency at The Colosseum, which is continuing through the fall. The man’s a machine!
In case you missed it, Sir Rod was also honoured last week with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 American Music Awards—well deserved, obviously. The man’s been entertaining us for decades and he’s not slowing down any time soon.
As Rod himself put it on Insta last year: “I love what I do, and I do what I love. I’m fit, have a full head of hair, and can run 100 metres in 18 seconds at the jolly old age of 79.” Classic Rod—always ready with a cheeky grin and a bit of banter.
While this might be the last of the big world tours for Sir Rod, he’s already dreaming up new ways to keep the music flowing, promising a potential swing tour in smaller, more intimate venues. Honestly, we’d watch him sing the phonebook at this point!
So, get well soon, Rod! We’ll be raising a glass to your speedy recovery—and we can’t wait to see you bring the house down at Glasto.
