Glastonbury’s Field of Avalon Unveils First Wave of Acts for 2025

Ahh, the Field of Avalon—one of Glastonbury’s most beloved hideaways, where folk, rock, pop, jazz, funk, blues, and even a bit of brass all collide in glorious harmony. And now, we’ve got our first taste of who’s taking the stage in 2025!
Following hot on the heels of the Acoustic Stage lineup reveal last weekend, Avalon is bringing out the big guns with a mix of indie legends, folk darlings, jazz maestros, and high-energy showstoppers. And honestly? It’s looking like a dream for anyone who loves a bit of everything.
Indie rock fans, you’re in for a treat. Ash are back, bringing three decades of anthems, while The Fratellis will have the crowd belting out Chelsea Dagger at full volume. The Magic Numbers will bless Avalon with their signature harmonies, and if you’re after something more raucous, Old Time Sailors are ready to throw you headfirst into a sea-shanty-infused Celtic punk party.
For those craving raw emotion and bold songwriting, Orla Gartland and Paris Paloma are ready to deliver with their folk-tinged pop. Meanwhile, Italian collective Rumba De Bodas will be cranking up the energy with a vibrant mashup of ska, funk, and Latin sounds. And if you fancy some full-throttle festival rock, Terrorvision are here to bring the noise.
Saturday’s lineup includes an emotional nod to one of music’s all-time greats with The Amy Winehouse Band, celebrating her iconic hits. Jazz-pop wizard Jamie Cullum is also making an appearance, alongside introspective indie-folk star Bess Atwell and the always-dazzling Jade Bird. Hard-Fi are back and sounding bigger than ever, while French genre-benders FÜLÜ promise a wild ride of brass and electronica.
Sunday isn’t slowing down either, with the genre-defying Alabama 3 bringing their unique mix of country, blues, and techno (yes, really). Bear’s Den will be marking ten years of heart-wrenching indie-folk, while The Big Moon continue their journey as one of the UK’s most exciting alt-pop bands. Meanwhile, Brooke Combe is set to bring her soulful, funk-infused magic, and the ever-mesmerising MY BABY will transport Avalon into a blues-trance frenzy.
There’s also a healthy dose of musical mischief, with The Horne Section—yes, led by Taskmaster’s very own Alex Horne—promising a set that’s equal parts comedy and chaos. Folk fans will love the high-energy tunes of Talisk, while Eurovision hero Sam Ryder is bringing his stadium-sized vocals (and probably some very sparkly outfits). Rising star Rachel Chinouriri and Americana talent Stephen Wilson Jr. will also take the stage, and last but not least, Tom Walker—the Brit Award-winning powerhouse behind Leave A Light On—will round things off with some big, emotional singalongs.
