Flames, Bass & Peace: Arcadia’s dragonfly is back for Glasto 2025 and it’s burning brighter than ever!

Ready to have your face melted off by lasers, fire, and beats that thump straight through your soul? Course you are — because Arcadia is back for Glastonbury 2025, and their now-iconic Dragonfly is levelling up once again for another weekend of jaw-dropping spectacle and pounding dancefloor energy.
If you haven’t stood in front of the Dragonfly yet, gasping as it breathes flames into the Somerset sky while a DJ drops a seismic bassline… are you even doing Glasto properly?
Constructed from a repurposed Royal Navy helicopter, this stunning behemoth turns machinery once built for war into a symbol of unity, hope and straight-up rave chaos. It’s part art, part engineering genius, and 100% sensory overload. This year, it’s getting stronger laser wings and new flaming rings — because Arcadia never does things by halves.
Let’s talk music, shall we? The 2025 line-up is stacked with B2B brilliance, clubland icons, and festival faves that’ll keep the field bouncing ’til sunrise.
Friday
sees Job Jobse B2B Palms Trax, Logic1000, Max Cooper (DJ Set), Optimo (Espacio), Romy, and the ever-party-ready Sonny Fodera. A dreamy start to the chaos.
Saturday
brings a proper heavyweight session: Annie Mac B2B Jamz Supernova, Danny Howard, the mighty Four Tet, a huge Groove Armada B2B Jungle (DJ Set), Hannah Wants, and a mega-hyped Michael Bibi B2B Solomun set that’ll almost certainly level the field.
Sunday
turns it up one last time with Basslayerz B2B Born on Road, Bru-C, Dr Banana B2B Gallegos, Eva Lazarus, Girls Don’t Sync, Jeremiah Asiamah, and a face-off we didn’t know we needed – Shy FX B2B Eats Everything. You know that one’s going to go off.
But Arcadia isn’t just about the tunes — it’s about transformation. Their late-night show Waraloo, performed in collaboration with the Wadjuk Noongar nation of Perth, Australia, returns as a midnight (and 23:30 Sunday) fire-and-bass ceremony that reimagines an ancient dragonfly song to mark the changing season. It’s goosebump-inducing stuff.
Sustainability is woven into Arcadia’s fire-spewing fabric too. Since 2023, the whole stage has been run without fossil fuels. This year, they’re linking up once again with Grid Faeries to power everything from bass bins to flame jets using cutting-edge battery tech.
And don’t forget the Bug – Arcadia’s roving, amphibious, six-wheeled carnival machine – bringing the party to unexpected corners of the festival.
Got little ones? The Alchemists’ Playground is back too, in partnership with Woodland Tribe. Think welding workshops, DIY adventure playgrounds, and mini-circus mayhem — perfect for raising the next generation of rave engineers.
Glastonbury 2025 is going full fire mode — and Arcadia’s at the molten heart of it all. Bring your dancing shoes. And maybe some heat-resistant ones, while you’re at it.
