End of the Road Festival 2025 Lineup Revealed: Caribou, Father John Misty, Self Esteem, and Sharon Van Etten to Headline
Get ready, festival lovers—End of the Road Festival is bringing the vibes once again! The much-loved event at Larmer Tree Gardens, near Blandford in Dorset, has just dropped its 2025 lineup, and it’s chef’s kiss. Taking place from 28–31 August next year, the festival promises another unforgettable long weekend of music, magic, and maybe a secret set or two.
Leading the charge are headliners Caribou, Father John Misty, Self Esteem, and Sharon Van Etten. Let’s talk highlights:
🎵 Father John Misty is making his way to the UK fresh off the release of his critically acclaimed sixth album, Mahashmashana. If you’ve followed him since his Fleet Foxes days, you’ll know Josh Tillman (aka FJM) has a knack for blending wit, drama, and swoon-worthy melodies like no other.
🎵 Self Esteem, aka Rebecca Lucy Taylor, is flying the flag for British pop brilliance. Her Mercury Prize-shortlisted Prioritise Pleasure (2021) is a bold, unapologetic masterpiece, and we’re betting her live set will be pure catharsis.
🎵 Sharon Van Etten, one of the most evocative voices in indie rock, is also heading to Dorset. Her 2022 album, We’ve Been Going About This All Wrong, was packed with raw emotion and received glowing reviews—expect to be completely swept away.
🎵 Caribou, the electronic project of Canadian maestro Dan Snaith, will bring the beats with tracks from his October 2024 release, Honey. Known for dreamy soundscapes that build into euphoric dancefloor moments, his set is guaranteed to be a highlight.
But wait, there’s more! The lineup also features Geordie Greep, the former frontman of the experimental rock outfit Black Midi, Black Country, New Road with their chamber rock brilliance, and South African funk sensation Moonchild Sanelly, whose vibrant energy will have you dancing like no one’s watching.
And if you’ve been to End of the Road before, you know to keep your ears open for secret sets. Last year, Wet Leg snuck in to perform “Chaise Longue” and “Wet Dream,” and we’re betting 2025 will hold similar surprises.
In a glowing review of this year’s edition, The Independent praised the festival’s “rich and eclectic” lineup, with standout performances from CMAT and Idles. Festival founder Simon Taffem is promising even more magic for 2025:
“End of the Road is all about discovery, and I can’t wait to welcome a whole load of amazing new acts that have never played before. As always, we’ll be doing everything we can to make it the best year yet, with plenty of surprises to come.”
Tickets are selling fast—only tier three tickets remain, so if you’re planning to join the party, don’t hang about. Head to the festival’s website now to grab yours.
