End of the Road 2025: Headliners, Hidden Gems, and a Dash of Festival Magic
Share On
Oh, End of the Road, you’ve done it again! The 2025 lineup is here, and it’s a glorious mix of dreamy headliners, quirky surprises, and that signature Larmer Tree Gardens magic. From August 28 to 31, this Dorset gem will once again be the place to soak up tunes, discover your next favourite band, and stumble upon a secret set or two (because what’s End of the Road without a cheeky surprise?).
Let’s talk headliners first—because, wow. We’ve got Caribou bringing his deliciously trippy electronic vibes, Father John Misty and his existential musings, the powerhouse pop icon Self Esteem, and the ever-soulful Sharon Van Etten. Honestly, it’s like the festival gods sat down and went, “Let’s make everyone’s dream lineup happen.”

Father John Misty—aka Josh Tillman

Caribou
Father John Misty—aka Josh Tillman—has been on a roll with his latest album Mahashmashana, which is basically an indie folk fever dream. Expect sweeping melodies, biting lyrics, and probably a lot of “Is he serious or joking?” moments. And then there’s Self Esteem, who will no doubt turn Larmer Tree Gardens into a euphoric, feminist disco. If her Prioritise Pleasure album taught us anything, it’s that Rebecca Lucy Taylor knows how to own a stage.
Sharon Van Etten will bring the feels, delivering her heart-wrenching anthems with the raw power we’ve come to love, while Caribou is set to send us all spinning into a state of bliss with his dance-floor-ready grooves from Honey.
More Than Just the Big Names
But here’s the thing about End of the Road: it’s not just about the headliners. This lineup is stacked. You’ve got Geordie Greep, the mastermind behind Black Midi’s experimental madness; Black Country, New Road, who are impossible to pin down (in the best way); and Moonchild Sanelly, whose funky, vibrant performances will have you dancing before you even realize it.
And let’s not forget those legendary secret sets. Remember last year when Wet Leg casually rocked up and dropped “Chaise Lounge” on an unsuspecting crowd? Absolute scenes. Who’ll it be this year? I don’t know, but you can bet I’ll be lurking around the stages trying to figure it out.
Tickets Are Going, Going… Almost Gone!
As always, End of the Road tickets are hotter than a festival-goer’s first coffee of the morning. Tier three tickets are all that’s left, so if you’re still dithering, now’s the time to commit. Festival founder Simon Taffem summed it up beautifully:
“End of the Road is all about discovery, and I can’t wait to welcome a whole load of amazing new acts that have never played before.”
So, there you have it. Whether you’re in it for the big names, the hidden gems, or just that special End of the Road vibe (you know the one), 2025 is shaping up to be another corker. See you in the Gardens, yeah?
