Kendal Calling 2025: 50 New Acts, Stage Splits Revealed & Birthday Bash Vibes Incoming!

The countdown is officially on! With just over a month to go until Lowther Deer Park once again bursts into life, Kendal Calling has dropped a massive update — we’re talking 50 fresh acts added to the already packed 2025 line-up and those all-important stage splits so you can start planning your weekend right down to the last singalong.

Set to take over the stunning Cumbrian countryside from Thursday 31st July to Sunday 3rd August, this year’s edition is extra special — it’s the festival’s 20th birthday bash! And honestly, they’re pulling out all the stops. If you were lucky enough to bag a ticket (yep, it’s totally sold out — no surprise there), you’re in for a proper treat.

Leading the charge are the big-hitters already announced: Kaiser Chiefs, Courteeners, Fatboy Slim, and The Prodigy will be lighting up the main stage. But it doesn’t stop there. We’ve also got festival favourites like The Wombats, Travis, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, The K’s, Fickle Friends, Reverend & The Makers, and even a bit of comedy gold with Jason Manford on the bill.

And now, to crank the excitement up a notch, today’s announcement sees another 50 names added across Kendal’s wonderfully eclectic stages. Among them: the ever-energetic Jaguar Skills, the party-starters Badger, rising star JD Cliffe, Florence Road, Lost Voice Guy, and a special dose of nostalgia and comedy with Phoenix Nights’ Justin Moorhouse. And in true Kendal Calling style, the fun factor is dialled right up with tribute acts like Nic Cage Against the Machine, UK Strokes, and Happy Mondaze making an appearance at the festival’s Town Hall.

Kendal Co-founder Andy Smith summed it up perfectly: “The countdown is truly on with nearly one month to go until we gather in the fields with forty thousand of you lovely lot. This year we have so much to celebrate together — not only the sheer joy and community spirit that’s at the heart of Kendal Calling… but also a big birthday!
